Sterile Surgical Blade -Introduction for Use
1.Component
The sterile surgical blade needs to be used together with plastic handle to cut tissues in surgeries. It can also be used in human anatomy teaching.
2.Configuration
The surgical blade used in our products is made of stainless steel or carbon steel through many processes such as blanking, heat treatment, grind and polish, etc. The blade is sharp. The product adopts the process of sealed package of polyester aluminum complex material. The product is sterilized by gamma irradiation.

- b) Hardness: Carbon steel ≥800HV10; Stainless steel ≥700HV10

- Notice:
- a) Users should be familiar with surgicalprocedures and techniques. Please choose proper surgical blade according to the demand of surgery.
- b) Pleasetear openthe package according to the indicated directions of the words on the single packing and middle packing, then take out the rolled blade.
- c) Do not re-sterilize! And do not re-or-cross use! Reuse will increase the risks for the patient after surgery, like fever, infection, etc.
- d) Do not use if inner package damaged, or there’ll be risk of fever, infection .
- e) The blade shall not be used when the pack is damaged.
- f) Surgical blade after used should be discarded into separated ‘sharps’container to prevent edge damage.
- g) Dispose of contaminated devices and packaging materials utilizing standard hospital procedures and universal precautions forbiological hazardous waste,to prevent environmental pollution.
- h) Do not use if the blade has rust.
- I) The shelf life is 5 years.
- Storage
- a) Surgical blade should be prevented pressure, sunshine and rain.
- b) This product should be stored in clean and well ventilated places with suggested relative humidity not higher than 80% and storage temperature between 5℃and 25 ℃; avoiding direct sunlight or heat sources and free of erosive gases.
- c) During transportation, damage and humidity should be avoided.
