Braided Polyester Suture
Polyester Suture is a non-absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of polyethylene terephthalate fibers. It is prepared from fibers of high molecular weight, long chain, linear polyesters having recurrent aromatic rings as an integral component.
It is available in green and white color. In house needle manufacturing provides better needles with optimum sharpness which finally delivers smooth riding on tissues during suturing.
Indications:
Polyester sutures are used for permanent, removable fixtures, cardiovascular surgery and orthopedic procedures. It is ideal for valve repair/ replacement and prosthetic implantations. Polyester sutures have no tissue reaction. Polyester suture is neither absorbed nor subjected to weakening by tissue enzymes, these sutures are best suited for cardiovascular surgery.
Properties: Good knot security, excellent tensile strength for reliability, excellent handling and long lasting.
