Polydioxanone Suture is synthetic absorbable sterile surgical Suture composed of the polyester, poly (p-dioxanone). Polydioxanone Suture is made from polymerizing para dioxanone monomer. It is available in Violet color.
In house needle manufacturing provides you the better needles with optimum sharpness which finally delivers smooth riding on tissues during suturing.
Indications of Polydioxanone PDO/PDS Suture:
Polydioxanone PDO/PDS Suture is suitable for the cases where extended wound support and strength are required. It retains about 75% of the initial strength for 2 weeks, 60% for 4 weeks and is absorbed through simple hydrolysis and completely get absorbed within 180-210 days. Absorption of polydioxanone suture is reliable and predictable.
